Meichen Waxer's interdisciplinary practice focuses on the correlation between research and diverse material investigations, exploring social structures as mediated through architecture and ornamentation. Oscillating between the highly personal and broader spaces of social class and narrative, Waxer grapples with the weight, access and form of the materials and structures I engage with.
Meichen is an MAA Candidate at Emily Carr University of Art and Design 2016. As well a graduate of OCAD University, 2007 with a major in photography.
